GPA’s chapter organizations, like the Houston chapter of the Gas Processors Association (HGPA), have been instrumental in serving the midstream industry through a number of networking and educational events specific to their respective regions. Participating in chapter activities is an excellent way to learn what GPA can offer and allows companies to get involved at a different GPA level. The GPA encourages midstream industry professionals to join and get involved in both chapter and national levels for maximum leadership and networking benefits. Although the HGPA is closely affiliated with the GPA, it is a separate organization, and as such, we have our own membership, by-laws, and dues structure. The HGPA offers both individual and corporate memberships.

Membership Benefits

HGPA membership is open to any company, individual or partnership that provides services to the Midstream Industry. HGPA memberships can be individual, for one person, or corporate, which allows employees of that company to take advantage of the following benefits.

  • HGPA Newsletter
  • HGPA Member Directory
  • Member Profile including personal Calendar of Events
  • Personal Member Profile access and edit capabilities
  • Luncheons, trainings, and other HGPA event discounts

Professional Development & Networking Opportunities

Houston GPA plans local training and events such as luncheons, golf tournaments, sporting clays, etc., which provide members an excellent opportunity to not only directly support the Midstream Industry, but also socialize and network with other individuals who represent all aspects of the Midstream Industry.

In addition, Houston GPA hosts a regional conference each fall, which provides an opportunity for members to share best practices, discuss the industry’s latest legislative and regulatory information, and benefit from scheduled technical sessions conducted by industry experts.

Careers

There are numerous career opportunities in the Midstream Industry throughout the Houston area. Relationships developed through HGPA events, the Regional Conference, technical training and scholarship events and fundraisers will enhance the possibility of employment in the Midstream Industry. Additionally, those already working in the industry can use the association to further their careers.
