ABOUT CARL HAHN & DAVID TAYLOR
Carl Hahn is the Director of Sales for the Separation & Filtration platform of CECO Environmental, encompassing the Transcend Solutions, Burgess Manning, and Peerless Manufacturing businesses. He has over two decades of experience developing and implementing separations technologies across oil production, midstream processing, petroleum refining and chemical processing. Dr. Hahn began his career as an R&D chemist in specialty chemicals before assuming technical and commercial leadership roles in the filtration and separation industry. Prior to joining CECO Environmental, Dr. Hahn led the Wellstream Processing business in the Americans for National Oilwell Varco (NOV). Dr. Hahn had previously held roles on the advisory board of the Gulf Publishing GTL Technology Forum and the Gulf Publishing GasPro 2.0 Symposium. Dr. Hahn currently serves as a member of the API 560 Fired Heater Standards Committee. He holds a Ph.D in chemistry from Princeton University, as well as a Certificate of Science, Technology and Public Policy from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. He earned a B.S. in chemistry with highest honors from the University of Michigan. Dr. Hahn is the inventor of ten U.S. patents.
David Taylor is Vice President / General Manager at CECO Environmental, responsible for the company’s Separation-Filtration business. Prior to his current role, he oversaw the development of Peerless’ China & APAC operations based in Singapore. Building upon an initial role in Peerless’ R&D group, he has held progressive positions in Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Business Management. Outside of business, David is an avid cyclist and soccer enthusiast.
