ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Neal Grogan is the Aftercare Manager and Chaplain at the Mighty Oaks Foundation. A proud native of Dallas, he married his childhood sweetheart, Britney, in 2010.
Neal served as an infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps, participating in combat operations in Afghanistan. Upon returning home, he faced the challenges of PTSD, which ultimately deepened his faith in the gospel and ignited a passion for sharing the hope of Christ with fellow veterans and active service members. This journey led him to serve as a pastor and church planter near Fort Hood, Texas, where he dedicated himself to supporting active-duty personnel until July 2024.
Neal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an M.Div. in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Britney are blessed with four children: Michael, Titus, Sarai, and Zion.
Roy Jaquez is the Outpost Coordinator for Mighty Oaks, as well as serves as a Program Facilitator, Mentor, and Team Leader Trainer with our National Programs. He is the husband of Ryane Mary Jaquez, and they have six children between them, ranging from 21 to 5 years old. He was saved by the grace of God in July of 2018.

He was then stationed with, and subsequently deployed with Riverine Squadron Three to the 6th Fleet / Mediterranean AOR and responded to the Libya Crisis following 9/11/2012 Embassy attacks. His last deployment was to Bahrain in support of CTF 56 operations assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron 3. In total, he deployed Six Times with various units on varying platforms.
Roy was injured on his first deployment and first deployment to Fallujah by an SVBIED that had an estimated 500 lbs of explosives.
