ABOUT THE SPEAKER
David is an executive with the Lockton Companies as well as a serial entrepreneur, board member, business advisor, investor, philanthropist, patriot, and family man. In David’s capacity as a Lockton Partner and Executive Vice President with the Lockton Companies, his global energy and multi-modal transportation practice provides experiential risk identification/awareness, risk mitigation, risk management and risk finance counsel as well as actionable and measurable solutions.to help his clients positively augment outcomes and achieve the execution of their corporate objectives. David has been involved in over a thousand merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions and specializes in working with senior executives, boards of directors and/or the private equity/family office ownership of privately-held and publicly-traded – onshore and offshore – upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas operating and services companies as well as multi-modal transportation services companies. David serves on the Board of Directors of the National Ocean Industries Association as well as the Advisory Board of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council and is a member in good standing with the API, DEPA, EIC, EWTC, HPF, IADC, IPAA, LOGA, OMSA, NMOGA, NOIA, OMSA, PBPA, PRSC, SPE, TIPRO, TXTA and the WEA. David is also host of the Oilfield 360 podcast which is listened to in 120 countries with 250,000 plus subscribers. He is also the founder of the Senior Energy Executive Discussion Series (“SEEDS’) and has been an author, contributor, panelist and speaker for the IADC, IPAA, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, Hart Energy, World Oil, NAPE, EWTC, NOIA, Simmons & Company, Piper Sandler, Well Servicing Magazine, Daniel Energy Partners and DA Davidson.
David also serves on the Board of Directors of Small Steps Nurturing Center, LEAD, and SkyHigh for Kids as well as on the Advisory Board at the Insurance and Risk Management Center at the University of Houston – Downtown, for which he was the principal catalyst, founder and Chairman of in 2009. David strongly supports organizations in the communities he largely conducts business and is focused on children’s education, healthcare and welfare, our combat veterans and wildlife conservation.
