Gas Dehydration and Amine Treating
Join us at 7:45 a.m. December 7 at Targa Resources, 811 Louisiana St., Houston.
- Members Cost: $195
- Non-Member Cost: $230
Breakfast will be provided. The cost also includes a ticket for the luncheon immediately following training.
About the Course
Transporting and processing of natural gas requires that the feed and products meet established specifications for water, sulfur, inerts, and other contaminants. Gas dehydration and amine treating for sulfur and carbon dioxide removal are important unit operations in virtually all modern gas processing facilities.
Water and dehydration topics include:
- Prediction of water content and hydrate formation
- Hydrate inhibition
- Water removal using glycols
- Mole Sieve dehydration
Gas treating options will be surveyed, but primary attention will be paid to amine treating and the characteristics and performance of popular amines such as MDEA (generic and activated), DGA, and DEA.
A big thank you to Targa Resources for hosting us!
