Our final luncheon of 2022 will be held December 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Houston Club, 910 Louisiana Street, One Shell Plaza Suite 4900, Houston. This month we are partnering with YMCA’s Angel Tree Program, an important community effort. In the spirit of giving back, we’ve offered two ways to support this program: via monetary donations collected below, or you may adopt a child to shop for and deliver the new, unwrapped gifts to the luncheon on December 7. Or, spread some Christmas spirit and do both!

Hiring and Retaining Employees for the Future

As an industry, we find ourselves in a challenging time as it pertains to bringing in new employees, training them and retaining them for the future. Employee’s expectations of employers are changing and opportunities they have are numerous. How do we need to adapt to attract the high level employees we need for safe operations and business continuity? In this presentation, we will discuss the differences we are seeing in the current workforce and some strategies to ensure we are adapting as an industry and not simply doing things “they way we have always done them.”
