JUNE 2021 VIRTUAL TRAINING

Event: The Use of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to Detect Slug Catcher Malperformance, with Case Study
When: June 30th, 2021
Speaker: Edmund Duban, Manager of Engineered Products for Holloman Corporation
Overview: A slug catcher is a key piece of static equipment that separates and stores incoming pipeline liquids.  Many gas processing plants suffer from slug catchers which perform inadequately.  CFD modeling software is an ideal tool for overcoming this industry challenge, as it can test a slug catcher’s design for malperformance during the project’s engineering phase.  CFD can also be used to debottleneck existing slug catcher systems with known performance issues.

Speaker: Bobby Hillin Jr., CEO, Principal Co-Founder & Professional Race Car Driver
Overview: As the world navigates toward a cleaner future, companies committed to raising the bar on fuel compliance standards will lead the way.  A unique perspective on racing, life, and our industry, with an emphasis on the growing need for delivering cost-effective fuel solutions that create a positive impact on global human health.

MAY VIRTUAL TRAINING

Event: Pressure Relief Valves, ASME Section VIII and API Code, Handling Overpressure Occurrences within Gas Processing Infrastructure.
When: May 19th, 2021
Speaker: Cameron Coleman Southwest Regional Sales Manager at ARI-Armaturen USA and Jonathan Bryant Product Engineer at ARI-Armaturen USA
Overview: The primary purpose of a pressure relief valve is the protection of life, property, and the environment—which means your pressure relief valve plays a crucial role in the field of gas processing! All-natural gas equipment will have a maximum allowable pressure rating, so it’s important to understand the correct application of your relief valve in order to prevent overpressure occurrences that are in excess of the max allowable operating pressure.
