Cybersecurity in 2020

Cyberattacks are on the rise. In an election year and increasing global tensions, there will be an escalation in cyber threats, cyberattacks on corporations, and your identity. Our entire lives are accessible on our mobile devices. What can be done do to safeguard yourself and your company in our hyper-connected digital world?

Pat Brown is a Cybersecurity Account Executive with MobileIron. His 25-year career includes working for Shell Oil as a Global Supplier Manager. Pat was a member of the Shell Information Risk Management leadership team. The Shell IRM team managed all Information Security and Process Control within Shell including Cyber Defense, Secure by Design, Governance Risk and Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory programs. Before joining MobileIron, Pat was the Managing Partner for Telogis, a Mobile Resource Management provider, which was acquired by Verizon in 2016 and is now known as Verizon Connect.

Crestwood Midstream Partners

Diaco Aviki joined Crestwood Midstream Partners in 2017 as the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Commercial Operations for the Gathering and Processing Division, located in Houston, Texas.  In this role, Diaco leads Crestwood’s business development activities and strategy development. 

Diaco began his career with Exxon in 1995, where he held various domestic and international positions in their downstream, chemicals, and gas marketing business units.  Diaco lead the gas marketing team involved with the commissioning of the ExxonMobil Golden Pass LNG Terminal where it set a global record for re-gassified LNG send-out prior to joining BHP Billiton.  At BHP Billiton, Diaco initially served as the Atlantic Basin Marketing Manager, integrating the shale acquisitions from Petrohawk and Chesapeake. Prior to joining Crestwood, Diaco served as the President of various midstream assets at BHP and led their commercial efforts.  

Diaco has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and has an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas.  He is an advisory board member for the Engineering College and Chemical Engineering Department at Auburn University.  He and his family live in Fulshear, Texas.

Expander Plants, Condensate Stabilization, and Fractionation

This training session will lay the foundation for the fourth extended module of the "Overview of Gas Processing" where Expander (Cryo) plants, Condensate Stabilizers and NGL Fractionation is covered.


Information about the trainer Ralph Neumann: 

MR. RALPH NEUMANN is a highly respected, member of our industry who has gained experience in Oil and Gas Production, Natural Gas Processing, Specialty Fractionation and Pipelines & Gathering Systems throughout his extensive career.  While presently an active industry consultant, his prior responsibilities have included his involvement in the implementation of several shale gas and tight gas facility development projects.  His extensive experience includes the development of conceptual and detailed designs, multi-discipline project supervision, economic feasibility studies and a variety of field services including pre-commissioning, startup, training and troubleshooting.  He has also been responsible for project development, manager of engineering (including safety and environmental) and management of field operations for a large midstream natural gas processing company.  He has authored and presented technical papers to the AIChE - dynamic simulation, the GPA Midstream Association (formerly the Gas Processors Association) - nitrogen rejection facilities, gas plant operations management, gas and NGL treating and the Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference - dehydration and amine treating.  Mr. Neumann received his baccalaureate and master's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
